Lianchuang Aluminum increases secondary aluminum alloy ingot production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 4 Apr 23 - Miluo Lianchuang Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd., one major secondary aluminum alloy ingot producer in Central China, increased output to about 2,000t in March, higher than around 1,200t in February.
"Our company didn't resume production until mid-February and produced about 1,200t in February. We increased our output to nearly 2,000t in March and have all of three smelting furnaces in operation at present", a source from the company said, and added that their downstream orders shrank by about 20% compared to the prior comparative period.
The producer, with an annual production capacity of 100,000t, produced nearly 26,200t in 2022 and holds around 1,000t in stock now.
On Monday, the mainstream prices of Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 hovered at RMB18,600-18,800/t (USD2,702-2,731/t) delivered D/P, down by RMB100/t (USD15/t) from last Friday. Given the current sluggish demand, insiders believe that the prevailing prices of Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 would decline in the coming week.
