Jiangxi Yaosheng increases tin concentrate output

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 31 Mar 23 - One of major tin concentrate 60%min producers in Jiangxi, Yaosheng Industry and Trade Development Co., Ltd., climbed the production of tin concentrate from 20 metal tons in February to about 60 metal tons in March, the source from the company to Asian Metal.
"We produced normally in this month and increased the output to nearly 60 metal tons in March, up by about 40 metal tons from last month", a source from the company disclosed. They noted that they would probably keep the same production next month.
The producer, based on an annual production capacity of 1,500 metal tons, totally produced about 610 metal tons in 2022 and around 110 metal tons this year to date, holding no inventory at present. They sold tin concentrate to some Hunan-based traders.
Although the mainstream prices for tin concentrate 60%min stood at RMB193,000-195,000/metal ton (USD28,064-28,355/metal ton) delivered 80% down in Jiangxi currently, down by RMB3,000/metal ton (USD436/metal ton) from yesterday, most of downstream clients purchased actively due to limited supply. Therefore, insiders predict the prices of Chinese tin concentrate 60%min would go up slightly in the upcoming days.
