Solder Indonesia PT increases tin solder production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 30 Mar 23 - Due to an increase in overseas orders, one of producers of tin solder in Indonesia, Solder Indonesia PT Co. Ltd., increased the output of tin solder to around 100t in March.
"We received more overseas orders this month, so we increased production to about 100t this month, up by 10t from last month," the source reported from the company to Asian Metal. Due to stable consumption from downstream clients, they would keep the same production next month.
With an annual production capacity of 2,000t, the company purchases tin ingot 99.95%min as raw materials. They totally produced about 1,200t of tin solder products in 2022. They monthly consume about 100t of tin ingot and produce electronic grade and industrial grade tin solders including for PCB (Printed Circuit Board) applications assembly plumbing soldering, and tin plating. They could also provide various kinds of environmentally friendly solder flux and export to many countries in Asia, Africa, America and Europe.
On Wednesday, the mainstream prices of tin ingot 99.95%min stand at USD 25,800-25,900/t EXW D/P in Indonesia, up by USD 120/t from yesterday. As most downstream clients purchased actively, insiders predicted that the mainstream prices of Indonesian tin ingot would go up tomorrow.
