On March 17, the 500,000tpy green circular deformed aluminum alloy material project in Qingchuan County, Guangyuan officially started construction in Zhuangzi Industrial Park, Qingchuan Economic Development Zone.
This project is the largest secondary aluminum project in Sichuan, covering an area of 280mu, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan (174 million US dollars). It mainly produces deformed aluminum alloy ingot, aluminum alloy ingot, and other products. The project will be constructed in two phases: one secondary aluminum production line with an annual capacity of 250,000t will be constructed in the first phase, which might be put into operation in October this year; and the second phase will commence construction in 2024. The project can generate an annual output value of 10 billion yuan (1.45 billion US dollars) after reaching the design capacity.
