Shaoxing Industrial to finish equipment maintenance

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 16 Mar 23 - Zhongse Dongfang Shaoxing Industrial Co., a major aluminum fluoride producer in Henan of China, would finish the equipment maintenance on March 18 and might produce close to 2,000t in March, a source from the company reported to Asian Metal.
"We schedule to finish equipment maintenance on March 18 and might produce close to 2,000t this month," said the source, who once shut down operation for unexpected equipment maintenance one week ago. They hold no stock now.
With two production lines and the total production capacity of 70,000tpy, they produced close to 50,000t in 2022 and over 7,000t so far this year.
Present mainstream prices for aluminum fluoride 61%min in China stay at RMB8,700-8,900/t (USD1,260-1,289/t) EXW, unchanged from early this week. As fluorspar prices moved up, aluminum fluoride producers maintain firm offers now.
