Jinruida Aluminum restarts normal aluminum fluoride production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 15 Mar 23 - Jiaozuo Jinruida Aluminum Co., a major aluminum fluoride producer in China, restarted normal operation on February 20 and produced over 2,000t last month, a source from the company reported to Asian Metal.
"We resumed operation from February 20 and produced around 2,000t last month," said the source, adding that they might produce 6,000t in March and hold no stock now. They once shut down operation in the middle of January for equipment maintenance during the Spring Festival holiday.
With three production lines and the total production capacity of 80,000tpy, they produced around 60,000t in 2022 and around 8,000t so far this year.
Present mainstream prices for aluminum fluoride 61%min in China stay at RMB8,700-8,900/t (USD1,265-1,295/t) EXW, stable from early this week. As fluorspar prices increased from one week ago, aluminum fluoride producers prefer to hold firm offers now.
