Vietnam VQB Mineral and Trading increases tin ingot output

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 15 Mar 23 - Vietnam VQB Mineral and Trading J.S. Company, one of major tin ingot 99.95%min producers in Hanoi, Vietnam, would expand the production of tin ingot to about 150t in March due to more orders.
"As we receive more orders from downstream clients, our production could reach about 150t in March, up by 20t from last month", a source from the company noted. They added that they would probably produce about 150t next month.
The producer, with an annual production capacity of 3,000t of tin ingot 99.85%-99.95%min, they purchased tin concentrate from their own mine in Laos to produce tin ingot 99.85%-99.95%min. They produced about 1,800t of tin ingot in 2022 and mainly export to Japan, South Korea and Philippines, Singapore, the EU, etc. Their annual export volume could reach nearly 1,500t. Now, they hold an inventory of 100t.
On Tuesday, the mainstream prices for tin ingot 99.95%min stood at USD22,400-22,700/t EXW in Vietnam, down by USD500/t from yesterday. Although the prices of tin ingot went down recently, insiders predict the prices of Vietnamese tin ingot 99.95%min would rebound this week driven by active purchases from downstream clients.
