Oryx Metals expands the tin concentrate production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 10 Mar 23 - Due to more orders, Oryx Metals Ltd., one of major tin concentrate 70%min producers in USA, would increase the production of tin concentrate to about 300 metal tons this month.
"Our Chinese client increased their purchases, so we would increase the output to about 300 metal tons in March, up by 50 metal tons from last month," the source from the company reported, and disclosed that they had no intention to increase output next month.
They have a Brazil-based mine and mainly export to China. They also have a smelter with annual production of 1,000t. With an annual production capacity of 5,000 metal tons, the producer has a mine with the daily processing capacity of 1,800t. They exploit ore of 0.8%min to produce tin concentrate 70%min. They have no inventory currently.
At present, the mainstream prices for tin concentrate 70%min stand at USD22,250-22,300/metal ton FOB Brazil, down by about USD220/metal ton from yesterday. As the market demand kept strong, insiders predict that the prices of tin concentrate would rebound as following days.
