India Khan International decreases tin ingot production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 8 Mar 23 - India Khan International Co., Ltd., one of tin ingot 99.90%min producers in India, cut the production from 50t in February to about 40t in March due to reduced orders.
"One of our clients delayed their purchase plan to next month. Therefore, we decreased the production to about 40t this month, down by around 10t from last month," the source from the company reported to Asian Metal, and they disclosed that they would probably increase the output to 50t next month.
All of their products were sold to local electronics plants. With an annual production capacity of 1,200t for tin ingot, the company mainly purchases tin concentrate 40%min-50%min from Myanmar and Laos to produce tin ingot. They produced about 600t of tin ingot in 2022, holding no inventory now.
The mainstream prices of tin ingot 99.90%min stand at USD24,200-24,300/t EXW D/P in India currently, down by USD200/t from yesterday. Most suppliers held positive attitudes to the market in spite of decreased prices, insiders predict that the mainstream prices of Indian tin ingot would rebound in the coming week.
