Shangji Automation's subsidiary signs monocrystalline silicon wafer & square rod long-term contracts

Shangji Automation announced on March 2 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Hongyuan New Material, signed a sales contract of monocrystalline wafers with Jiangsu Xinchao PV Energy Development Co., Ltd. As per the contract, the later will purchase 1.325 billion monocrystalline silicon wafers in total from the former from March 2023 to February 2026, with a total estimated sales value of RMB8.242 billion (USD1.19 billion) including tax.
Meanwhile, the company revealed that Hongyuan New Material also signed a sales contract of monocrystalline square rods and wafers with Canadian Solar Manufacturing (Luoyang) Inc., which stipulated that the latter would purchase 10,000t of monocrystalline square rods and 250 million monocrystalline wafers from the former from January to December 2023 with a total sales value of RMB5.377 billion (USD779 million) including tax.
