On February 14, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 300,000tpy calcined petroleum coke (CPC) upgrade project developed by Shandong Qingyishan Petrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. was held at Yishui County.
Upon completion, the project would produce 300,000t of CPC annually, along with 400,000t of steam as byproduct, and is expected to achieve annual production value of RMB1 billion (USD145 million) and tax revenue of RMB35 million (USD5.1 million).
