WBMS: Global nickel market records supply deficit of 58.2kt in Jan-Nov 2022

According to the latest report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), from January to November 2022, global refined nickel production stood at 2,716,671 tonnes and apparent consumption at 2,774,889 tonnes, with a global supply deficit of 58,218 tonnes. While in the first 11 months of 2021, the global refined nickel market recorded a supply shortage of 131,916 tonnes and 146,828 tonnes for the whole year.
In November 2022, global refined nickel production was 274,192 tonnes while the apparent consumption recorded 280,631 tonnes.
