Wujin Stainless Steel's stainless steel pipe production down by 9.5% YOY in 2022

The production and sales report released by Wujin Stainless Steel on February 2 shows that in 2022, the production and sales of its stainless steel seamless pipe decreased by about 9.5% and 7.3% year-on-year to 47,017 tons and 46,244 tons respectively; the output and sales of its stainless steel welded pipe declined by 19.3% and 22.8% YOY to 29,626 tons and 28,806 tons respectively.
In particular, the output of stainless steel seamless pipe in Q4 increased by nearly 6.4% YOY and 13.5% MOM respectively to 12,801 tons, while the sales volume dropped by about 0.05% YOY and 1.3% MOM respectively to 12,062 tons; the production of stainless steel welded pipe rose by nearly 17.5% year-on-year and 23.3% month-on-month respectively to 9,021 tons, while the sales volume decreased by nearly 16.2% YOY but increased by about 45.1% MOM to 9,052 tons.
