In 2022, the industrial enterprises above designated size in Ningxia produced about 93,553,700t of raw coal, up by 8.4% year on year, according to the data from the Statistics Bureau of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. In detail, bituminous coal production was 87,307,900t, up by 8.2%, coking bituminous coal production was 5,230,700t, up by 18.2%, and anthracite production was 1,015,100t, down by 15.4%.
By the end of December 2022, the raw coal inventory in Ningxia totaled 2,233,200t, with a turnover of 10 days.
