CISA: Major steel mills' average daily steel product output records 1.81Mt in early Jan

According to the data released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), in the first ten days of January 2023 major steel mills' steel product output in China totaled nearly 18.07 million tons, and the average daily output posted around 1.81 million tons during this period, down by 8.68% from that in the last eleven days of December 2022.
In the first ten days of January 2023, major steel mills in China held around 14.89 million tons of steel products in stock, up by about 1.83 million tons or 14.02% from in the last eleven days of December 2022.
