35.com breaks ground on 5GW high efficiency HJT cell project

Xiamen 35.com Technology Co., Ltd. (35.com) started construction of a 5-gigawatt high efficiency heterojunction (HJT) cell and module intelligent manufacturing project (Phase I) on January 11. The project, located in the Economic Development Zone of Danling County in Meishan, Sichuan, is the first photovoltaic project of the company to be developed in Sichuan.
The first phase of the project aims to build production lines of 2 gigawatts with an investment of RMB1 billion (USD148 million) and commence commercial production before December 2023. Whereafter, the production lines of 5 gigawatts will be completed and put into operation before December 2024.
