NEA: China's new installed wind and solar capacity to reach 160GW in 2023

On December 30, the National Energy Work Conference for 2023 was held in Beijing. China's National Energy Administration (NEA) set a goal that the country's installed wind capacity would reach about 430 gigawatts and installed solar capacity would reach about 490 gigawatts in 2023. The total installed capacity of wind and solar would be 920 gigawatts and the total new installed capacity will amount to 160 gigawatts, a year-on-year increase of more than 33%.
