From January to October 2022, global tin market was in a supply deficit of 12,600t, according to the latest report released on Wednesday by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS).
In the first ten months of 2022, the global refined tin production decreased by 37,000t year-on-year. In this period, reported refined tin output reached 133,900t in China, and its apparent demand reduced by 20 . 6% on a year-to-year basis.
Global tin demand recorded 296,000t in January-October 2022, down by 8% from the comparable period of last year. The apparent demand of the United States decreased by 8 . 2% to 24,800t . In October, the global refined tin output posted 31,500t, while the consumption reached 34,100t.
