Yunnan Copper to invest RMB6.42 billion to relocate copper cathode project

Yunnan Copper announced on December 13 that it plans to relocate the 550,000tpy copper cathode production line at Southwest Copper Branch to Anning Industrial Park, Kunming, Yunnan. The total investment for the relocation project is estimated at RMB6.42 billion (USD920 million).
According to the announcement, when completed, the project will be able to produce 550,000t of copper cathode, 1,400,000 of sulfuric acid, 11.28t of gold ingot, 650t of silver ingot and other byproducts annually.
