    Jilin aims to reach over 8GW of installed solar capacity by 2025

    Jilin aims to increase its solar PV installed capacity to more than 8 million kilowatts (8GW) by 2025 while keep the utilization rate above 90%, with PV equipment market size to reach 1 billion yuan (143 million US dollars), according to an official plan issued by the local government.

    The plan, which covers the years from 2022 through 2030, highlights the establishment of large-scale industrial base for PV equipment and faster installation of solar power system.
