According to the Outlook of Renewable Energy issued by IEA on December 6th, the installed capacity of renewable energy worldwide is expected to double in the next five years boosted by concerns on global energy security since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
IEA noted that the installed capacity of renewable energy worldwide is expected to increase to 5,640,000 MW by 2027, up by 2,400,000 MW, equivalent to China's total installed power capacity at present. By 2027, the global solar PV power and wind power generation capacity is expected to rise by approximately two times and one time respectively and the biomass fuel demand is expected to increase by 22%.
