Shuangliang Eco-energy announced on November 25 that the company intends to invest RMB10.5 billion (USD1.46 billion) totally to construct a 50-gigawatt large monocrystalline silicon pulling project in the Rare Earth Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Baotou within two years. The investment will further enhance the company's overall plan on the photovoltaic new energy industry, laying the foundation for the rapid development of its business of photovoltaic new energy.
