Chinalco's 250MW PV composite power generation project commences construction

Recently, a 250-megawatt photovoltaic composite power generation project breaks ground in Ningdong, Ningxia officially. The project, with a planned installed capacity of 250 megawatts, will build booster stations and energy storage supporting facilities, hold an average annual power generation of about 400GWh and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by nearly 320,000t per year after completion.
The project is one of the large-scale photovoltaic base construction projects in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is the first new energy project for Chinalco to construct during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
