Tongwei to develop 300ktpy high-purity silicon integrated green substrate project

Tongwei Co., Ltd. announced on October 29 that the company reaches preliminary cooperation and intends to sign an investment framework contract with the governments of Baoshan City and Longling County to invest in the Tongwei (Yunnan) high-purity silicon integrated green substrate project, after the company has signed the investment agreement of Tongwei (Yunnan) 200ktpy high-purity silicon green energy project (Phase II) with the governments of Baoshan City and Changning City before.
The project, located in the Industrial Park of Longling County, plans to produce 300,000t of green substrate per year and construct supporting facilities with a total investment of about RMB4.5 billion (USD616 million).
