NBS: China's polysilicon & monocrystalline silicon output up by 50% YoY in Q3

China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) revealed recently that in the third quarter of 2022, the added value of high-tech manufacturing industry grew up by 6.7% year on year, 1.9 percentage points higher than the growth rate of industrial enterprises above designated size. The new material products of new energy maintained rapid growth, including the year-on-year increases of 83.2%, 56.1% and 53.9% in production of ultra-white glass, polycrystalline silicon and monocrystalline silicon products for the solar energy industry, and the year-on-year increases of 81.5%, 47.1% and 30.8% in production of charging piles, wind generating systems and photovoltaic cells, respectively.
