GACC: China's exports of steel products down by 3.4% YOY in Jan-Sep

The latest data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) show that from January to September 2022, China exported 51.209 million tons of steel products in total, down by 3.4% year-on-year; in September, China exported 4.984 million tons of steel products, a year-on-year increase of 1.3% but a month-on-month decrease of 19.0%.
From January to September, China's cumulative imports of steel products recorded 8.343 million tons, down by 22.1% against the same period last year. In September, the import volume of steel products was 891,000 tons, a decrease of 0.2% MOM and 29.1% YOY.
