Ningbo Lygen Resources Indonesia OBI ferronickel project's one production line goes into operation

On the morning of October 16, the 4# production line of Indonesia OBI ferronickel section I contracted by Shanghai Baoye was put into operation successfully. The project is located in the west of OBI Island, North Maluku Province, Indonesia, and is jointly invested and constructed by Ningbo Lygen Resources Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Indonesia Harita Mining Company. It is proposed to build a ferronickel smelting plant with an annual production of 870,000 tons, eight supporting 48MVA submerged arc furnaces with RKEF process and four supporting 150MW power stations, covering an area of about 155 hectares.
