Shaanxi sees year-on-year increase of 16.04% in coal sales in Jan-Aug

Shaanxi has 254 mines at present, and the daily coal production reached 1.92 million tons in the third quarter. In the first eight months of this year, the coal production of the province totaled 489 million tons, up by 6.3% YoY, and the coal sales totaled 472 million tons, up by 8.45% YoY.
From January to August, the coal sales volume of Shaanxi outside the province was about 303 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 16.04%, and about 195 million tons were transported out of the province by railway, a year-on-year increase of 19.04%.
