China's first ultra-high altitude PV empirical base goes into operation

On October 14th, China's first ultra-high altitude PV empirical base, namely the SPIC Sichuan Ganzi Xingchuan Empirical PV Power Station, went into formal operation.
Located in an area with the average altitude of 4,000 meters in Dinggong Prairie, Zhengdou Town, Xiangcheng County, Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garzê, Sichuan Province, the project is the largest single PV power generation project in Sichuan with the total installed capacity of 600,000Kw and the average annual power generation of about 1.268 billion kWh after completely being connected to grid.
