Drinda to establish subsidiary to advance 26GW high-efficiency cell project construction

Hainan Drinda Automotive Trim Co., Ltd. announced on October 12 that the company intends to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary named Huaian Jietai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in Lianshui County, Huaian City of Jiangsu, registered by RMB500 million (USD69.72 million) from its own capital, accounting for 100% of the registered capital.
The principal aim to establish the subsidiary is to meet the company's strategic development requirements and push forward the construction of its 26-gigawatt high-efficiency solar cell base project with an investment of about RMB13 billion (USD1.81 billion) totally. The first phase of the project will come into construction before December 31, 2022 as scheduled and achieve the design capacity within 12 months.
