Macmic to invest RMB600 million in building vehicle-grade power semiconductor discrete device production and R&D project

Macmic Science & Technology announced on September 26 that the company planned to invest RMB600 million (USD83.94 million) in the construction of vehicle-grade power semiconductor discrete device production and R&D project, with an estimated construction period of three years. After the project is completed, the company will have an annual production capacity of 8.4 million pieces of vehicle-grade power semiconductor devices.
The company announced on the same day that the company planned to issue convertible bonds to unspecified objects, with a total fundraising amount of no more than RMB450 million (USD62.96 million), and the net proceeds after deducting issuance costs will all be used for vehicle-grade power semiconductor discrete device production and R&D project (Phase I).
