On September 15, the opening ceremony of Tianjin semiconductor base and Tianjin Advanced Semiconductor Materials Research Institute of Zhonghuan Advanced under TCL Zhonghuan was successfully held in TCL Zhonghuan Tianjin Huayuan Science and Technology Park.
With an investment of RMB3 billion (USD428 million), Zhonghuan Advanced's Tianjin semiconductor base covers an area of ??9.88 acres. After the project reaches the designed production capacity, it will form a production capacity of 1.35 million pieces of polishing wafers of 8 inches and below per month. After the completion of the project, it will become an important production base and R&D center of characteristic power semiconductor integration circuit materials in China, and support the development of new energy, automotive electronics, 5G communication, Internet of Things and other end fields in my country and around the world.
