Haihua Group's initial 300MW photovoltaic power project goes into construction

Recently, Shandong Haihua Group held a construction commencement ceremony for its initial 300MW photovoltaic power part of Weifang Binhai photovoltaic-wind power generation demonstration base. As a key part of the larger 10GW photovoltaic-wind power generation program to be built in northern Shandong intertidal zone, the demonstration base is located in Shandong Weifang Binhai Economic and Technological Development Zone, with total planned investment of RMB14 billion (USD2.01 billion) from a number of companies headed by Haihua Group and planned to have an installed capacity of 3,000MW, of which 2,900MW will be photovoltaic power and 100MW will be wind power. The demonstration base will start with a 300MW photovoltaic power capacity with a 25-year designed service circle and expected to be connected to the grid by the end of this December.
