JA Solar to issue convertible bonds to raise up to RMB10 billion

JA Solar announced on August 25 that the company intends to issue convertible bonds of RMB10 billion (USD1.5 billion) for the Baotou JA Solar crystal pulling and slicing project (Phase III) of 20GW, a 10-gigawatt high-efficiency battery and 5-gigawatt high-efficiency module project, a 10-gigawatt high-efficiency solar cell project as well as working capital replenishment.
