WBMS: Global lead market sees supply shortage of 108,000 tons in Jan-Jun 2022

According to the latest report data released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) on Wednesday, the global lead market had a supply shortage of 108,000 tons from January to June 2022, while it had a deficit of 110,400 tons in 2021
In the first six months of 2022, global refined lead (primary and secondary) production reached nearly 7.15 million tons, an increase of 1 . 3% over the same period last year . China's apparent demand is expected to be 3 . 553 million tons, basically the same as the corresponding period last year, accounting for about 49% of the total global demand.
In June, the output of refined lead recorded about 1.217 million tons, and the demand reported about 1 . 215 million tons.
