NBS: China's primary aluminum output up by 5.6% YoY in Jul

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), in July 2022, China's output of alumina was about 7.08 million tons, up by 8.8% YoY; the output of primary aluminum was about 3.43 million tons, up by 5.6% YoY; that of aluminum products was about 5,34 million tons, down by 2% YoY; and that of aluminum alloy was about 1.12 million tons, up by 22.7% YoY.
From January to July, the total output of alumina, primary aluminum and aluminum alloy increased by 3.1%, 1.1% and 11.1% year on year to about 47.26 million tons, 22.95 million tons and 6.73 million tons respectively, while that of aluminum products declined by 2.9% year on year to about 35.02 million tons.
