The Manufacturing Management Department of Guangdong Shaoguan Iron and Steel Songshan Co., Ltd. recently organized steelmaking plant, special rolling mill and other units to carry out the first trial production of 12mm high-strength earthquake-resistant steel bar HRB635E, which was successful.
High-strength earthquake-resistant steel bar has the advantages of good seismic resistance, convenient construction and reduced steel consumption. When high-strength steel bar HRB635E replaces ordinary steel bar HRB400E, and the usage volume can be reduced by about 32%.
The high-strength earthquake-resistant steel bar HRB635E developed and trial-produced this time has been rolled in two batches. The mechanical properties of these steel bars all passed the test and fully met the seismic requirements of 635MPa high-strength steel bar.
