Yunnan Wuxing New Material signs investment agreement on high-purity graphite project with Huaping government

The government of Huaping county, Lijiang city, Yunnan province signed an investment agreement on 100,000tpy high-purity graphite project (phase two) on June 30th. With a total investment of RMB3.5 billion (USD522.62 million) and a total construction period of 24 months, the project will build two production lines, each of which will have an annual production capacity of 50,000t of ultra-fine isotropic graphite. It's predicted that the first production line would go into operation in December 2023 and the second in July 2024.
