GACC: China's imports of copper concentrate up by 12.6% YoY in May

According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) on June 9, China imported 2.189 million tons of copper ore and concentrate in May 2022, up by 16.2% MoM and 12.6% YoY. The imports from January to May totaled 10.422 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%
In May 2022, China imported 465,000 tons of unwrought copper and copper products, unchanged MoM while up by 4.4% YoY; and the imports from January to May totaled 2.404 million tons, up by 1.6% compared with the same period of last year.
