The Raw Materials Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently released the operating results for the first quarter of 2022
In terms of exports, in the first quarter, China exported about 1.63 million tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, up by 26 . 7% YoY, and the export value was 6 . 48 billion US dollars, up by 65% YoY . In terms of imports, in the first quarter, China imported 6 . 35 million tons of copper concentrate, up by 6 . 7% YoY, and the import value was 13 . 83 billion US dollars, up by 12 . 7% YoY; China's import of unwrought copper and copper products was about 1 . 47 million tons, up by 2 . 6% YoY, and the import value was 12 . 17 billion US dollars, an increase of 22 . 2% year-on-year.
