Inner Mongolia Wanzhou Special Steel's capacity replacement project made public

In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council and the Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Inner Mongolia commissioned the Metallurgical Industry Information Standard Research Institute to evaluate the high-alloy steel construction project of Inner Mongolia Wanzhou Special Steel Co., Ltd. and the institute issued evaluation opinions in line with relevant policies. The capacity replacement program of Inner Mongolia Wanzhou Special Steel Co., Ltd.'s high-alloy steel construction project was made public. As there is no objection, the capacity replacement program is hereby notified.
According to the replacement program, Inner Mongolia Huaye Special Steel will shut down capacity of 600ktpy and Inner Mongolia Wanzhou Special Steel will build capacity of 575ktpy. The remaining 25ktpy of capacity will be reserved for targeted enterprises.
