According to the data from the Bureau of Statistics of Inner Mongolia, in February 2022, industrial enterprises above designated size in the region produced 86.1 million tons of raw coal, up by 14.5% YoY, with an average daily output of 3.08 million tons. The average daily output of raw coal in the region exceeded 3 million tons for five consecutive months, which alleviated the shortage of coal supply in China.
In the first two months of 2022, industrial enterprises above designated size in the region produced 190 million tons of raw coal, up by 11.6% YoY, 8.9 percentage points higher than that of 2021. The average daily output from January to February was 3.22 million tons.
