India makes final ruling on countervailing mid-term review of welded stainless steel pipes and tubes from China

On February 9, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that it made a final ruling on countervailing mid-term review of welded stainless steel pipes and tubes originating in or imported from China and Vietnam, ruling that the premium welded stainless steel pipes and tubes under ASME-BPE standard do not qualify for the exemption and are therefore not excluded from the products in question in the above countries. This case involves products under Indian customs codes 73064000, 73066100, 73066900, 73061100 and 73062100.
