India terminates anti-dumping measures against wire rod originating in China

On February 7, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that the Tax Bureau of the Ministry of Finance of India did not accept the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's final ruling recommendation of anti-dumping sunset review on October 29, 2021 for wire rod of alloy or non-alloy steel originating in or imported from China, and it decided not to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the Chinese products involved in the case. The Indian customs codes of the products involved are 7213 and 7227. Wire rods with dents, flanges, grooves and other deformations produced during rolling (commonly known as rebar or deformed steel bar) under tax number 72131090, stainless steel wire rods under tax number 7221 and high-speed steel wire rods under tax number 72271000 are not within the scope of taxation.
