Shenhuo new energy power battery material project starts construction

On the morning of January 4, the opening ceremony of the 60,000tpy new energy power battery material project of Shenhuo Group was held in Shangqiu, Henan.
The project mainly produces battery foil and battery flexible packaging foil 1060, 1070, 1235 with thickness of 9-50μm, with an annual output of 60,000t. The products are widely used in aluminum foil for anode of new energy lithium battery, and aluminum foil for anode and cathode of energy storage sodium ion battery, etc. The total investment is expected to be 1.2 billion yuan (188 million US dollars) and the construction period will be 30 months.
