Russia's coal output to reach 450 million tons in 2022

The spokesman of the Russian Ministry of Energy said recently that Russia's coal output will reach 450 million tons in 2022, which is expected to set a record. In terms of export, Russia's coal export reached 227 million tons in 2021, with a year-on-year increase of 7%, and it might increase to 237 million tons in 2022.
Data from the ministry showed that from January to November 2021, Russia's coal output totaled 398 million tons, up by 9.04% YoY; and its exports totaled 195 million tons, up by 10.78% YoY.
