CATL to invest no more than RMB24 billion in Yibin power battery production base project

CATL announced on December 30 that it plans to, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Sichuan Shidai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., invest no more than RMB24 billion (USD377 million) to build the phase seven and ten of Yibin power battery production base project in Sanjiang New District, Yibin, Sichuan.
In addition, CATL signed an agreement with Zhejiang Yuanjing Auto Parts Co., Ltd. to supply power battery products of no less than 57GWh from 2022 to 2026.
