Guangdong Rising Rare Metals to start single-machine commissioning of upgrade project by end of 2021

The phase I workshop of the relocation, upgrading and transformation project of Guangdong Rising Rare Metals EO Materials Co., Ltd. begins to take shape, and dozens of production equipment are installed, waiting for formal commissioning.
The project is planned to be constructed in three phases, and the first phase mainly produces high-purity tantalum niobium oxide and metal, providing reliable and stable basic raw materials for semiconductor targets, electronic information and superalloy. At present, the project construction is progressing smoothly, and 95% of the main project construction is completed. The single machine test run will be realized by the end of the year and will be put into trial production at the beginning of next year. The design capacity of the first phase is 1,200 tons. At present, the equipment of two main production lines is installed.
Located in Yingde High-tech Zone, the project is a key construction project in Guangdong Province, with a total investment of about 1.02 billion yuan (160 million US dollars) and a construction land of about 356mu. After the whole line is completed and put into operation, the annual revenue can reach more than 1.3 billion yuan (204 million US dollars). The project officially started construction in December 2020.
