On October 18, Sichuan Wanshun's 130,000tpy high-precision aluminum plate, strip and foil processing project held a groundbreaking ceremony in Yuanjiaba Aluminum Industrial Park, Guangyuan Economic Development Zone.
The project is the first construction project of Sichuan Wanshun Zhongji in Guangyuan, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan (235 million US dollars) and an area of 122mu. The construction period of the project is 2 years. After the completion of the project, an annual production capacity of 80,000t of aluminum foil blank for lithium battery cathode and 50,000t of light gauge aluminum foil blank coil will be formed, and the annual operating revenue is expected to reach nearly 3 billion yuan (469 million US dollars).
