EU makes final ruling on second anti-dumping sunset review against wire rod from China

On October 13, 2021, the European Commission announced that it made the final ruling of the second anti-dumping sunset review on Wire Rod from China, and decided to continue to impose a 7.9% anti-dumping duty on Hunan Valin Group and a 24% anti-dumping duty on other Chinese enterprises. The Combined Nomenclature codes of the products involved are 7213 10 00, 7213 20 00, 7213 91 10, 7213 91 20, 7213 91 41, 7213 91 49, 7213 91 70, 7213 91 91 90, 7213 99 10, 7213 99 90, 7227 10 00, 7227 20 00, 7227 90 10, 7227 90 50 and 7227 90 95. The dumping investigation period of this case is from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, and the damage analysis period is from January 1, 2017 to the end of the dumping investigation period. The announcement shall take effect the day after its promulgation.
